Description: HELLEVATOR is a 2D pixel-art hack and slash. You ride a giant freight elevator down through the layers of hell, and every time it stops, the doors open and demons pile in. Kill all of them and the car keeps going. Between floors you pick boons that change how you fight, and every few floors a boss is waiting.

In the demo you play the Samurai: six gatling strings, two half-circle specials, and a three-bar ultimate, ONIGOROSHI. The meter is the blood you spill, so the harder you fight, the sooner you can spend it. Bosses come apart when they die.

Controls: A and D to move, Space to jump, J, K and L to attack. Specials are a motion on the movement keys plus J or K, and the moves panel beside the game lists them. A gamepad works too.
